We can no longer sugar-coat it: the impacts of climate change are increasingly evident in unprecedented wildfires and hurricanes, and future threats are documented in scientific reports from both the U.N. and U.S. government. It can be pretty scary and overwhelming.
Active Hope offers an alternative to despair and denial—the path of reconnection and of tapping into our innate resiliency in the face of daunting challenges.
Joining the Active Hope process of Joanna Macy with Zen practice, this workshop helps us see in new ways the challenges we face, offers tools for dealing with our feelings in this difficult time, and opens new ideas for actively moving toward a more sustainable and humane world.
Facilitators:  Verne McArthur and Jin Haeng Kyle Wiswall
