We, Ken McManus and Julie Wagner, share a deep love for, and concerns about, our earth and all life it supports. We are alive at a time of growing uncertainty and tremendous loss.  Countless species, ecosystems, and human cultures around the world are endangered.  How do we respond to the daily barrage of distressing news?  What do we do with feelings of despair?  Where do we find inspiration for positive change?

To address these questions, Joanna Macy and her colleagues have been co-creating the Work that Reconnects over four decade. It has inspired many thousands of people to engage wholeheartedly in The Great Turning to a life-sustaining society. In the forward to Joanna’s book entitled ‘World as Lover, World as Self’ Nobel Peace Prize nominee, Thich Nhat Hahn, writes, “This is real peace education”.  We invite you to explore it with us.
