Facilitation Deepening

Work that Reconnects Facilitation Deepening with “World as Lover, World as Self”:

The Theory and Practice of the Work that Reconnects

September 11-16, 2016

Rowe Camp and Conference Center, Rowe, MA

The Interhelp Facilitator Development and Deepening Action Circle is offering several opportunities for facilitator deepening and development this coming fall, one of which is an opportunity to attend Joanna Macy’s upcoming five-day program at Rowe Camp and Conference Center, “World as Lover, World as Self,” September 11-16.

The Interhelp Network has reserved 10 spots at this program for people who are beginning or newer at facilitating the Work That Reconnects. These spaces will be allotted on a priority basis to people who have either never participated in a program with Joanna, or have only briefly experienced her in person, and who would greatly benefit from working with her directly so as to learn and enhance their own facilitation skills. If you have already worked extensively with Joanna and would still like to attend, contact us, and if spaces are available, they will go to whoever can most benefit from this experience.

This group will meet at 3PM on Sunday, September 11 before the program with Joanna begins on Sunday evening to get to know each other and discuss dreams for facilitator development and deepening, and also meet together on Friday afternoon from 3-5 to talk about integrating the experience of the five days into their facilitation.

There is the option to join other facilitators for a Facilitation Deepening Weekend (date and location yet to be determined). During this subsequent weekend, participants will have the opportunity to take turns facilitating practices, receiving helpful feedback and discussing facilitation tips and best practices.

Please note, in order to attend the five-day program at Rowe, you must have prior experience with the Work That Reconnects – this cannot be your introductory experience as it is an opportunity for going deeper.

To apply for one of these 10 spaces, please respond to the questions below and submit them by July 31. You will be notified by August 14th if a space is available for you. Please submit responses to Marcia Berry as indicated below.
